Downsview Anti-Drug & Violence March
Downsview Seventh-day Adventist Church invites you to join us for a special Anti-Drug & Violence March in the Jane and Finch community on July 11 at 3:00 PM.
This community march is a call for peace, hope, healing, love, and unity. Together, we will stand against drugs and violence while encouraging stronger families, safer streets, and a brighter future for our youth and community.
The march will begin and end at Grandravine Community Centre. The route will go from Grandravine Community Centre to Driftwood, left on Stonegate Crescent, left on Jane Street, left on Grandravine Drive, and back to the community centre.
Families, friends, neighbours, church members, and community partners are all welcome to attend. Come ready to walk, pray, sing, and stand together for positive change in Jane and Finch.
Program
The program will begin with a welcome and opening prayer by Bro. Lue, followed by the community march.
After the march, we will gather for words of encouragement and commitment:
Welcome: Pastor O’Connor
Say No to Violence: Dr. Benta
Say No to Drugs: Pastor Clarke
Say Yes to Love and Unity: Pastor Fray
National Anthem: O Canada
Closing Remarks/Prayer: Pastor O’Connor
Let us come together as one community to declare: Say no to drugs. Say no to violence. Say yes to love, unity, and life.
